For JSWP, grammar is an essential component of both reading and writing. We integrate grammar into every lesson.
In this series of complimentary grammar lessons, also known as Dr. Louis’ Grammar Boot Camp,” educators will learn a strategic approach to teaching grammar. Each month, Dr. Louis will provide instruction on one or two important grammatical rules that will enhance students’ writing skills and lead to their improvement on formative and summative assessments where they are asked to edit, revise, and proof their work. JSWP is devoted to helping teachers improve grammar skills in their classrooms.
