Join us for the STAAR® Bootcamp—a complimentary learning series for our current clients designed to give educators practical tools and strategies to use right away. Each part of the 3-part series will feature a prompt and a passage for the three different modes of writing seen on the test: Informational (Nonliterary), Argumentation, and Literary. Dr. Louis will provide her participants with a step-by-step process to share with students in order to increase their skills and their scores.
Participants will need to bring
- their JSWP® STAAR Guide,
- four-colored pen set (blue, red, green, and black), and
- 8.5"x11" blank or notebook paper for teaching students how to draw and organize their thinking on planning pages before they type their answers online.
